Golf Getaway

A group of our good friends went to St. George this weekend for some fun in the sun.

We had a blast! The weather was awesome. The guys did a lot of golfing, the women did some serious shopping and a whole bunch of talking and laughing. We were supposed to go and meet the guys at the golf course on the last nine holes and do a scramble with them so we decided to shop for matching shirts. The guys usually buy matching shirts for themselves. We thought it was fitting for us to have some for our first year of being invited to the golf trip. It was very entertaining as we all lined up in Old Navy to purchase our orange shirts, all nine of us. The guys were very surprised when they showed up for lunch at Iggy's to find a bright orange spot. We enjoyed some of the same traditions the guys have when they go in the fall: eating at the Gun Barrel and staying at the Abbey Inn. We caught a movie that was ridiculously confusing and down right stupid. We had a lot of fun anyway. We are lucky to have the best friends ever. It was a great weekend and we were glad to arrive at home and find all was well with our families.
