The St. George triathlon was this weekend. Craig has been training for it for months. The boys and I went along to cheer for him. The race starts with a swim in the Sand Hollow Reservoir, then they bike 12 miles and finish with running. He finished 4th in his age group and 69th overall. Over 1200 men and women participated in this event. It was a lot of fun watching and the boys are now fired up to do triathlons too. Brady and Kate are doing a half marathon this summer and Craig is training for the St George Marathon in October. Mitch has joined a biking club and been learning to race. It was a very inspiring event as we watched men and women of all ages finish. The athlete's age was written on their left calf with a marker, we were then able to know their age. The oldest participant we saw was an 84 year old man....impressive. Brady decided he liked seeing everyone's age and proposes we do this in every day life. He thought it would come in handy for him to not only look at a girl's left hand to see if she is married but then look at her calf to see how old she is. Great company and great surroundings made for an enjoyable weekend. We started it off by laughing with Brian Regan at the Tuacahn Amphitheatre. Funny guy! Fun weekend!
